Clinical Excellence for Everyone

Helping support adults suffering from common mental health problems through evidenced based therapy.

Fig Branch is a registered charity (1189312) that provides free therapy and therapeutic services to adults in Norfolk and Suffolk. We provide treatment for people on low incomes who cannot afford private therapy. We offer individual psychotherapy, group treatment sessions, and a range of holistic therapeutic single day events, such as gardening groups, bird watching, relaxation/meditation, coffee mornings and creative writing.

We are committed to providing clinical excellence and all of our treatment modalities are scientifically evidenced as effective and are in compliance with NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) guidelines.

All clinical staff are professionally qualified and accredited, with a minimum of 10 years experience working in mental health. In addition, our two clinical leads are experienced lecturers and clinical supervisors, who are well respected in their fields.

Unfortunately we are at capacity for new referrals for one to one psychological therapy until the end of May 2024.

Who do we help?

Fig Branch accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from GP’s, psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. When you contact us we will aim to respond to you within 5 working days. You will be sent some paperwork to complete and return so that we can best assess your needs. All patient information is treated as highly confidential. Once Fig Branch has received and reviewed your paperwork, a staff member will contact you with next steps.

In cases where Fig Branch is not able to offer you treatment for your specific problem, this will be explained and we will endeavour to point you in the right direction to find the treatment you need.
